Satisfaction with Life Scale
SWLS
General
The SWLS is used to assess life satisfaction by means of five items on a seven-point response scale ranging from 1 (strongly disagree) to 7 (strongly agree). According to the authors, life satisfaction represents a multifactorial construct with affective and cognitive-evaluative components, which are covered by the instrument. The completion time is less than one minute.
Operation Area
The SWLS was developed as a short self-assessment instrument for the subjective evaluation of life satisfaction.
